The iO story began in 2023

bringing together years of hands-on experience building healthcare systems at a national scale. We aligned that work under one name and a clearer direction.

Dr. Haidar Alyousuf

Chief Executive Officer

A key architect behind Dubai’s health insurance and health financing reforms, Dr. Haidar led the implementation of Dubai’s mandatory health insurance system (ISAHD in 2013), shaping how millions access healthcare today. His work in transforming policy into action positioned Dubai as a leader in digitized health insurance infrastructure. Beyond regulation, Dr. Haidar is also a business builder and leader—he was instrumental in creating and scaling the healthcare division for Al Futtaim Group from the ground up, establishing it as a fully integrated, high-impact primary care provider.

With over 27 years in AI, health tech, and digital transformation, Dr. Omar has built and led national healthcare platforms across multiple markets. As the founder and CEO of Dimensions Healthcare, he developed the UAE’s leading e-claims system, later acquired by IMS Health (now IQVIA). Dr. Omar’s career has always been about bridging the gap between technology and healthcare. Historically he led the building and/or deploying of 14 national platforms across the region covering regulatory platforms for insurance, e-prescriptions, HIS, RCM, costing and more. Currently focused on deploying AI-driven healthcare system optimization.
